History

Transilvania Constructii SA was established in the 1990s and became one of the largest construction companies in Cluj-Napoca and Transylvania, building various civil construction projects that formed the basis of what is now the city of Cluj-Napoca. In 1999, the company was privatized, continuing to be one of the largest construction companies in the area.

Transilvania Construcții was established in 1990, after the split of the Construction Trust

1999

The company is privatised

2003

Development of the first industrial park (Parc Logistic Transilvania) on an area of 20 hectares

2007

The company is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange

2003 – 2013

Transilvania Construcții is involved as a general contractor in major construction projects, from industrial premises to apartments and office buildings to stadiums and hotels.

2010

We developed the first residential project of 110 apartments – “Dorobantilor Residence”

2014

The company’s strategy changes towards developming its own portfolio of logistic and industrial parks, aiming to become a major player on the national market

2016

Development of the second industrial park in Cluj county on an area of 36 hectares

2019

Growing the network of industrial parks branded TRC Parks with the development of TRC Park Bacău on a 8 hectares land plot.

2022

Acquisition of five in-city industrial parks in Arad, Cluj and Oradea with a leasable area of 72,000 sqm.

Present

Currently, the company has a portfolio of commercial real estate with a GLA of 250.000 sqm.

About

With 20 years of experience in construction and real estate, Mircea Timofte founded the first industrial park in Cluj-Napoca. As Chairman of the Board of Directors he represents the company at high-level meetings, approves the company's strategy and oversees its implementation.
Mircea is serving as Chairman of Transilvania Construcții since 1999.
He graduated from the Faculty of Electromechanics in Cluj-Napoca.

Andrei Timofte has 15 years of experience in real estate and as CEO is responsible for managing the entire property portfolio. He oversees operational activities and implements the plan and strategy set by the board of directors.
Andrei joined Transilvania Construcții in 2007.
He holds an MBA in Real Estate from the University of Reading, UK.

Alexandru joined Transilvania Constructions in 2006.
He graduated from the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj.

Sports Club Manager

Remus Cîrlan as the manager of Club Transilvania is in charge of coordinating the sports center’s activity, organizing tournaments and other sports events. He is responsible for maintaining a close communication with clients ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Remus joined Transilvania Construcții in 2018.

He graduated from Dimitrie Cantemir University.
